The Ruger 10/22 Continental Project Part 2

If you missed part 1, click here

Now I will start with the polishing of the steel parts. I removed the sights from the new take off barrel

I polished it to 5000 grit

Then I start on the Kingston receiver

I started with 100 grit

320 grit

2000 grit

I then wet sanded with 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000 then 5000 grit

And did the same to the other side and the back

The top is cleaned up

I have blued the receiver and collected the parts needed for assembly

The barrel also got blued, now I install the sights

The stock arrived, it looks pretty good, straight grain, but still genuine walnut

Next we will assemble the rifle and get some pictures

Stay tuned for Part 3
