more camo

I sold the Remington model 710 30-06 Rifle and bought this older Savage 110 30-06, I mounted a Harris bi-pod, camo leather sling, Limbsaver recoil pad and scope cover for the Bushnell 3-9x42 scope.
While I was at it I free floated the barrel by removing enough wood from the stock, so that it should not contact the barrel  even with temp/humidity change.

I did the same type of camo job, only this time painted the metal as well, it was in sore shape anyhow and the wood stock was not walnut, it was birch or some other cheap wood

here is how it came out:
