ReplyDeleteI bought the bull barrel version of that gun in the early nineties only to have it stolen from my truck, (I kept it under the seat) when I lived in Florida. I cant remember the model #. I bought a Government Target Model to replace it. Those Rugers are very durable guns and my new Government Target Model is a tack driver!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have some great skills by the way that you re-built that old girl. Great work on bringing her back!
I did a full restoration of 2 Ruger Standards (some people call them Mark I) and I kept one for my personal collection and have the other for sale in my gunsmithing shop in Bristol, TN. Great plinking and target pistols.
ReplyDeleteI feel strangely aroused.
