Gun Art? # 1

A new segment here on the blog....this is gun inspired art or art that uses guns as the medium.

Art: "the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power."

The above definition is pretty subjective. I think anything can be "art", just as anything can be considered "Obscene", it is all a matter of perspective.

some of these items are made from real guns (which should be a crime) and some are plastic or cast replicas.
it pains me to see real guns destroyed for the sake of art or to make a political statement.

Maybe, just maybe some of these artists actually appreciate guns for what they are....mechanical works of art, tools that can be used for good or for evil, yin and yang if you will or maybe they are suffering from what has been described as a "lack of emotional and sexual maturity"?

One of the most famous gun art pieces is the Colt Python with its barrel tied in a knot.....funny, never thought of the Python as a weapon of war...but maybe it speaks to the REAL goal of the the hoplophobes (and the UN??)....total control of the people.

After being shot in the gut, Pop-Artist Andy Warhol began painting pictures like the one below, using a High Standard Sentinel as his muse.
