Replacement 10/22 Trigger Assemblies

In years past we covered the replacement stocks, high capacity magazines. This month we showed you replacement receivers and replacement bolts, now we will look into options regarding the trigger assembly.

In  2014 Ruger began offering an upgraded trigger assembly that had been factory altered for a smoother, lighter trigger, Go to ShopRuger.com for more info


Tony Kidd makes plenty of great upgrades for the 10/22 including the two stage trigger assembly below, see more at his website here



Volquartsen is a name every Ruger owner should recognize and as you would expect has a quality replacement trigger available. The housings are CNC cut from 6061 aluminum, come anodized in 6 colors and feature a 2.25 pound trigger pull with adjustments for pre and over travel. See more here



The name Timney is practically synonymous with custom triggers, so it is no surprise to see them offering an upgraded trigger system. They have two different drop in systems, the one below is their "Calvin", see Timney's website here



 Power Custom aka Grand Master 





 Tactical Innovations / Pike Arms goes a different route, they start with a Pike Arms T6 Billet machined housing and then install factory Ruger parts. The housing are available complete or stripped in 8 colors (2 shades of black are available)



Jard, is a company known for custom triggers, they are now selling a complete replacement for the BX trigger called the Sportsman. The housing is made from aluminum and comes in 5 pull weights from 1 to 3 lbs. See more here





Atomic Arms offers a drop in replacement made from CNC machined billet aluminum, it comes in 19 color combinations, see more here



These next two companies offer modified BX trigger assemblies.
The first one if from Brimstone Gunsmithing and they have a unique trigger arrangement uses a different trigger return spring and provides for adjustable over-travel. S&P Outfitters has them available


Hornet Products has a multitude of options on their website, pictured is the "Red Baron" model with a 2 3/4" trigger pull



This instagram post showed an all new one piece aluminum trigger group design for the 10/22 from Magnum Research. I have yet to see anymore info on it, if someone does know something more, please provide a comment below
